Abstract
The present Government Order, issued by the Ministry of Environment, implements the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, as well as 1) Council Regulation (EEC) No 3626/82 of 3 December 1982 on the implementation in the Community of the Convention on international trade in endangered species of wild fauna and flora; and 2) Commission Regulation (EEC) No 3418/83 of 28 November 1983 laying down provisions for the uniform issue and use of the documents required for the implementation in the Community of the Convention on international trade in endangered species of wild fauna and flora. It contains 19 Articles divided into the following chapters: 1) Washington Convention; 2) Index of lists and annexes; 3) Permits, certificates and labels; 4) General provisions; 5) Transit; 6) Personal belongings; 7) Various provisions; 8) Prohibition against various transactions; 9) Appeals, etc; 10) Penalties; 11) Entry into force.
