Abstract
The Order sets regulations on the prevention and treatment of pest/disease attacks on honey bees and bred bumblebees. Owners and apiculture operators shall immediatelly notify the municipal authorities or the AU (Institute of AgriEcology of the Aarhus University) of the following: American foulbrood caused by the bacterium Paenibacillus larvae, Stone Hatchery caused by Aspergillus fungi, small hive beetle (Aethina tumida), Tropilaelaps mites, European foulbrood caused by the bacterium Melissococcus plutonius, Trakémiden (Acarapis woodi), and the mite Varroa destructor. The Plant Directorate, AU and bee-inspection body shall supervise the provisions of this Order for compliance.
