Abstract
This Executive Order establishes Danish penalties for infringements of specified EU animal-health rules concerning transmissible diseases, livestock and pet establishments, identification and traceability, breeding material, disease surveillance and control, movements and imports of animals and animal products, aquaculture, certification, and diseases such as African and classical swine fever and lumpy skin disease. Most violations are punishable by fines, while intentional or grossly negligent breaches that endanger human or animal health or produce an economic benefit may result in imprisonment for up to two years; legal persons may also be held criminally liable.
