Order No. 507 on infection with bluetongue virus (BTV).

This Executive Order regulates bluetongue virus (BTV) in kept ruminants and supplements EU animal-health rules. It sets duties on notification, sampling, laboratory testing, surveillance, and information-sharing, and allows authorities to impose measures such as movement restrictions, confinement during vector-active periods, insecticide treatment, tracing of reproductive material, and vaccination. It also provides for milk-sampling surveillance, compensation rules by reference to separate legislation, and fines for non-compliance.
