Abstract
This Act applies to the breeding of deer in enclosures (in zoos, animal parks and the like). Fence thereof must first be approved and then notified to the regional food authorities. Red deers and fallow deer may be kept in one deer enclosure only and breeding of deers in stables is not allowed. Marking of cervids must take place prior to end of April in the year it shall turn one year of age. Registration of animals shall be by CKR identification numbers. Reproduction of cervids from Danish origin is not allowed.
