Order No. 84 on biomass waste.

This Order establishes rules concerning the handling of wood waste and other solid biomass waste by incineration or by marketing to companies producing fuel pellets or fuel briquettes. The Order applies in particular to waste from agriculture and agricultural products, forestry, gardens, parks and other wood and bush-growing areas as listed in the Appendix to this Order and shall require municipal authorization for incinerating in power or heat generators specifically designed for burning solid fuel or for the disposal of combustion. Any other biomass waste not included in the Appendix shall be handled in accordance to the Waste Act.
