Abstract
This Order applies to authorized oyster landing, fishing and transport in Limfjord. The authorization may be granted to vessels covered by regulations authorizing vessels to mollusc and oyster fisheries (FTA units). It is only permitted to catch and land oysters in adherence to authorization issued by the Danish AgriFish Agency. The Agency shall in in fact grant special authorization accordingly after consultation with the Technical University of Denmark, National Institute of Aquatic Resources, whereby the Agency may wholly or partly limit, open or close oyster fishing areas based on their environmental conditions. Fishing and landing of oysters is prohibited in the fjord from 15 May to 31 August and certain fishing gear regulations apply to specific fishing areas (fishing baskets not to occur in more than 3 meters depth). Oysters weighting less than 60 gr. shall be returned live into the waters. Landing may include 10% weight of mussels only.

Terms and regulations regarding total allowable catch shall be considered violated if a higher catch than allowed is certified following representative sample taken in adherence to Commission Regulation No. 954/87 of 1 April 1987.
