Abstract
This Danish Veterinary and Food Administration Regulation applies EU sanctions on Russia in Greenland. It specifies that if products fall under the EU’s restrictive measures — notably Council Regulation (EU) 833/2014 — then Greenland’s Food Authority must enforce controls on imports of Russian fishery products, exports of animal-derived products to Russia, private imports of animal goods from Russia, and technical or brokerage services related to such products. It forbids issuing export certificates or carrying out veterinary checks for prohibited items under the EU sanctions list. Violations may lead to fines for individuals or companies. Attached annexes reproduce the relevant EU articles and product lists.
