Abstract
These Regulations impose certain duties upon owners of premises in order to keep those premises free from rodents. As a general rule, the owner of every business premises shall maintain such premises or institution in a rat proofed and rodent free condition to the satisfaction of the Chief Environmental Health Officer. The Chief Environmental Health Officer may require, by notice, an owner of a business premise to carry out certain measures for purpose of rat-eradication. Any food for feeding, poultry, cows, pigs, horses or other animals shall be stored in a rat-proofed building or in rat-proofed containers, compartments or rooms. No garbage or other waste shall be left in occupied or unoccupied premises.
