Abstract
These Regulations provide for the protection of marine life in the Soufriere/Scott's Head Marine Reserve established under the Fisheries (Soufriere/Scott's Head Marine Reserve) Order 1998. Listed activities, including use a spear gun for the purpose of fishing in the marine reserve and dumping of waste, require a registration by the Local Area Management Authority and a licence of the Chief Fisheries Officer. The Regulations also prescribe fees, to be paid to the Local Area Management Authority.
