Food and Nutrition Council Act.

This Act provides for the establishment of the Food and Nutrition Council as a body corporate. It shall, among other things: (a) make recommendations for a national food and nutrition policy; (b) develop a food and nutrition planning process; (e) monitor food and nutrition programmes; (d) prepare and evaluate food and nutrition projects; and (e) assist the establishment of food quality control throughout the food chain. The Council shall have regulation-making powers.
