Abstract
This Act provides rules relative to registration of ships, construction, operation and safety of ships and navigation and provides for the establishment of the Commonwealth of Dominica Maritime Administration (MARAD).
Matters regulated by this Act include: limitation of liability of maritime claims; vessel inspection; vessel's documents; and rights in respect of vessels.
