Action Plan for the Sustainable Use of Plant Protection Products 2024–2029.

This Action Plan represents the basis for the continuation, better implementation and further development of existing activities involving plant protection and related products. The overall objective of this Action Plan is to reduce the risks to health and the environment associated with the use of plant protection products. The Action Plan describes the following measures: raising awareness on the effects and the use of plant protection products; training and counselling to distributors and professional users; marketing and sustainable use of plant protection products; monitoring and surveillance of plant protection products; storage of plant protection products, disposal of empty packaging and remaining residues from use; non-agricultural use of plant protection products; monitoring of plant protection products in groundwater and their residues; integrated pest management activities.
