Regulation of the Minister of Rural Affairs no. 22 of 2019 on the Statute of the Plant Variety Register.

This Regulation, based on the provisions of section 57 (1) of the Plant Propagation and Variety Protection Act, established the plant variety register, provides for ensuring the preservation of the variety, the protection of the rights of the owner of the protected variety, and the effective supervision of plant propagation and compliance with the requirements of the Act. The Regulation empowers the Ministry of Regional Affairs and Agriculture as the responsible processor of the register, details the tasks of the administrator, including management of data. Matters covered by this Regulation include: composition of the register; method and structure of keeping the register; protection of register data; list of data entered in the register; data processing procedure; supervision over the keeping of the register and termination of the register; implementation provisions.
