Abstract
This Regulation, made on the basis of subsections 3 and 6 of paragraph 84 of the Veterinary Act, specifies the procedure for payment of fees for the performance of veterinary supervision related to the authorisation of an authorised veterinarian. According to the Regulation, a veterinarian receives a fee from the Agriculture and Food Board once a month for the performance of veterinary supervision. The Regulation defines the rates of fees payable in case of prevention and diagnosis of the animal diseases occurring in cattle, pigs, horses, sheep and goats, birds, and for performing the following activities: tuberculinisation and evaluation of the tuberculin sample; brain tissue sampling in and outside a slaughterhouse; taking a blood sample; taking a milk sample; copra sampling; vaccination. The Regulation specifies the rate of the fee paid for each inspection visit, and the upper limit of the fee to be paid for the performance of veterinary supervision, for activities not included in the Regulation. The Regulation further defines the rate of compensation to be paid, in the case of using a personal vehicle for carrying out a veterinary supervision operation.
