Regulation of the Minister of Rural Affairs no. 71 of 2021 on: requirements for the content of the notification to be submitted to the Agriculture and Food Board and the submission procedure, more detailed procedure for keeping records of the laboratory findings of animal diseases and zoonotic pathogens, requirements for the content of the report, the list of those zoonoses, the findings of the pathogens of which must be notified to the Agriculture and Food Board, a list of animal diseases and zoonotic pathogens, which the laboratory must keep records of.

This Regulation, established on the basis of subsections 5 and 6 of paragraph 49 of the Veterinary Act, provides for the necessary requirements for the content of the notification regarding specific animal diseases and the laboratory finding of the zoonotic pathogen. Further matters covered by this Regulation include: detailed procedure for keeping records of the laboratory findings of animal diseases; list of zoonotic pathogens for which the laboratory must keep records. Concerning procedure for keeping records of notifiable animal diseases and laboratory findings of other animal diseases and zoonotic pathogens, the Regulation prescribes to take note of the following data: name of the animal disease or zoonotic disease agent; the species of animal studied; research methodology; the number of positive or suspicious samples; the number of researched animal farms; the number of livestock holdings where the sample taken from the kept animal turned out to be positive.
