This Regulation establishes requirements for the design, installation, operation and maintenance of a fire alarm system and for the buildings from which an automatic fire alarm system fire message is to be transmitted to the Alarm Center, as well as for the transmission and waiver of an automatic fire alarm system. The Regulation consists of seven chapters: General provisions (1); Design and installation of fire alarm systems (2); Transmission and waiver of an incoming fire alarm to an automatic fire alarm system (3); Specifications for the installation of a fire alarm system (4); Commissioning and operation of a fire alarm system (5); Fire alarm system maintenance (6); and Implementing provisions (7).
