Regulation No. 33 of 2016 of Minister of the Environment of Estonia on Differences in the Procedure and Time Limits for the Processing of Documents for the Import, Export and Transit of Radioactive Waste Depending on the Country of Origin and Destination

The Regulation provides the procedure and terms for the processing of documents necessary for the import of radioactive waste into Estonia, the export of radioactive waste from Estonia and the transit through the territory of Estonia. It consists of ten sections: Scope of application (1); Definitions (2); Cargo documents (3); Processing of documents in case of export of radioactive waste from Estonia to another EU Member State (4); Import of radioactive waste into Estonia for processing (5); Processing of documents in case of transit of radioactive waste through Estonia (6); Processing of documents in case of export of radioactive waste from Estonia to a third country (7); Processing of documents upon import of radioactive waste from third country for the purpose of processing in Estonia and upon transit through Estonia (8); Preservation of completed documents for transboundary shipments of radioactive waste (9); and Entry into force of regulation (10).
