Regulation No. 6 on Specific Requirements for Applications for an Integrated Environmental Permit, the Procedure for Granting the Permit, and the Data Composition of the Application and the Permit.

This Regulation establishes the detailed requirements for applications for an integrated environmental permit, the procedure for granting such permits, and the mandatory data composition of both the application and the permit. It applies to installations subject to an integrated environmental permit regime. The Regulation provides that applications must be submitted to the competent authority through the environmental decisions information system and must include a comprehensive description of the planned activity, together with the required technical and environmental data and information on the application of best available techniques.
The data requirements cover several environmental domains and include technical information on emissions to air, water abstraction and wastewater discharge, and waste generation and management. The Regulation also requires the submission of information relating to the prevention or reduction of noise, vibration, and odour, as well as a baseline report on the condition of soil and groundwater where hazardous substances are used or produced. In addition, it sets out the procedure for processing applications, specifies the content of the integrated environmental permit issued by the competent authority, and regulates the conditions under which temporary exemptions from certain permit requirements may be granted.
