Abstract
This Regulation lays down methods for the calculation of emissions of carbon dioxide into the ambient air from energy and industrial sources. It consists of eleven sections: Scope of regulation (1); Determination of carbon dioxide emissions by reference method (2); Determination of CO2 emissions by the mass balance method (2-1); Recalculation of fuel consumption (3); Calculation of specific emissions of carbon from liquid and solid fuels (4); Calculation of specific carbon emissions of Estonian oil shale (5); Calculation of specific emissions of carbon from natural gas (6); Calculation of the specific emissions of carbon in the process gas (6-1); Specific emissions of carbon from fuels (7); Oxidation factor of fuels (8); Calculation of actual carbon emissions and carbon dioxide emissions into ambient air (9); Determination of carbon dioxide emissions in industry (10); and Entry into force of regulation (11).
