Abstract
This Regulation provides for the special methods for killing a farm animal for religious purposes, more specific content and format requirements for an application for a permit for slaughter for religious purposes, and requirements and procedures for carrying out slaughter for religious purposes. The Regulation consists of six sections: Special methods of killing farm animals for religious purposes (1); Killing of farm animals for religious purposes by prior electrical stunning (2); Killing of farm animals for religious purposes without prior stunning (3); Requirements and procedure for slaughter of farm animals for religious purposes (4); More specific content and form requirements for applications for permits for slaughter for religious purposes (5); and Entry into force of regulation (6).
