Abstract
In accordance with section 1 of the principal Regulation powers are granted to those authorities that issue water permits to establish more stringent criteria for the discharge of waste water and treatment of waste water for all "objects" of which the waste water flows into certain rivers and lakes. Requirements attached to water permits that are more stringent than those prescribed by sections 2,3, and 4 of the principal Regulations for sewage treatment plants established before 1 January 1995, shall remain in force. More severe requirements shall be established for waste water that has been treated biologically. (3 sections)
