Agreement in Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation between Egypt and Romania signed in Cairo on 21 February 2007.

This Agreement is composed of 4 Chapters divided into 11 articles. Chapter I contains general provisions including aims and objectives of this Agreement, which are to: protect the environment; cooperate in water resource, irrigation, agriculture and agrarian reform; encourage the economic, scientific and technical cooperation; and, develop and improve industries related to petroleum, gas, electricity, energy, transport and tourism. Chapter II deals with the establishment of the Joint Committee for the implementation of this Agreement. Chapter III pertains to consultations and dispute settlements. Chapter IV contains final provisions related to the entry into force of the Agreement and amendments.
