Ministerial Decree No. 2341 of 2003 on the establishment of the "Protection of Plant Varieties" office.

This Decree provides for the establishment of the “Protection of Plant Varieties” office as part of the central Department of seeds’ examination and approval in agricultural services’ sector implementing the Ministerial Decree No. 492 of 2003. This office will receive, examine, and inspect applications for Plant protection then grants the breeder’s right certificate of new Plant varieties according to the conditions specified in the Ministerial Decree No. 82 of 2002.
