Ministerial Decree No. 830 for 2011 regarding the conditions and procedures for the accreditation and monitoring of the trade of propagation material approved for fruit varieties.

The aim of this Resolution is to provide information regarding the conditions and procedures of accreditation and monitoring of the trade of propagation material approved for fruit varieties. The present Resolution is composed of 19 articles and 9 Annexes. Article 4 prohibits the trade of propagation material for fruit varieties unless registered in the Ministry of Agriculture. Article 5 defines the degrees of the approved propagation material of fruits. Article 6 provides for the health status requirements for the accreditation according to the information provided in Annex 4. Article 7 specifies the steps of propagation material produced from the degrees of breeding of fruit varieties following technical specifications mentioned in Annexes 1,2,3 and 4 respectively. Articles 8 and 9 set forth the obligations of the licensee in accordance with Annex 7. Article 10 imposes a period of control for nurseries.
