Abstract
This Resolution is composed of 3 articles. The creation of automatically, semi-automatically and manually operated slaughterhouses has to be authorized by the Minister of Agriculture and the General Committee for Veterinary Services (art. 1). Requests must be submitted to the General Committee for Veterinary Services, indicating the place and type of slaughterhouse. The following documents must be attached to the request: authorization from the quarter, approval by the Administration of Public Health; supervision, activity and control of slaughterhouses are assigned to the General Committee for Veterinary Services; special conditions are indicated on pages 5-12 of the Resolution (art. 2).

This Resolution enters into force on 4 November 1996.

In conformity with Law No. 53 of 1966 (on agriculture), Presidential Resolution No. 187 of 1984 (creation of the General Committee for Veterinary Services), Ministerial Resolutions No. 517 of 1986 (slaughterhouses and slaughtering) and No. 1320 of 1993 (rules on the circulation of slaughtered poultry).
