Prime Minister’s Decision No. 618 of 2017 amending some provisions of the executive regulations of the Environmental Law issued by Prime Minister’s Decision No. 338 of 1995.

This Resolution revises the original 1995 Resolution by outlining personnel and consultancy firm requirements for conducting (i) Environmental assessments, (ii) Environmental impact studies, (iii) Environmental plans for all facilities, and (iv) Environmental measurements. It also addresses regulations for (i) unloading coal from ships, (ii) determining the minimum distance between storage stations outside ports and residential areas, (iii) transportation conditions for coal and petroleum, (iv) storage conditions within factories, and (v) criteria and conditions for the marketing and use of coal and petroleum.
