Resolution No. 227 of 2006 establishing the National Laboratory for Veterinary Control on Poultry Production.

The establishment of the National Laboratory for Veterinary Control on Poultry Production aims at biology security, animal health, and animal feed and food production. This Resolution is composed of 9 articles. Article 1 deals with the establishment of the aforementioned Laboratory and its units. Article 2 defines competencies and duties of the Laboratory. Article 3 deals with the analysis and sampling of poultry products. Article 4 decrees the period in which technical committees shall visit and control farms. Article 5 defines fees and costs of analysis and sampling. Articles 6 and 7 provide for results of analysis, and the control and revision of Laboratory’s budget.
