Business Information Register Regulations, Proclamation No. 124 of 2002

The Ministry of Trade and Industry is charged with establishing and maintaining Business Information Register for the purposes of establishing an internationally accepted database on business establishments and making annual reviews of the performance of the business sector. The Register covers business establishments engaged in trade, manufacturing, services, fisheries and commercial farms. Business are required to furnish the following information for the Register, including; name of the business; name of the owner(s); legal form of organization of the business; address of the business; commodities the business deals on, among others.
