Abstract
The Regulations define bonded warehouses as private warehouses operated by individuals or corporate bodies for the storage of their own in-bond goods or public warehouses operated by entrepreneurs for the storage of goods imported by various importers. The Regulations provide for the issuance of certificates as authorization for running bonded warehouses. The Regulations provide operational standards for bonded warehouses which also serve as conditions for the issuance of certificates, including adequate space for the examination of goods by officers, the safe storage and proper identification of goods in the warehouse, among others.
