Proclamation to Amend the National Agency for the Supervision and Privatisation of Public Enterprises, No. 83 of 1995

This amends the National Agency for the Supervision and Privatisation of Public Enterprises Proclamation, No. 83 of 1995. The amendment dissolves the Agency and terminates its powers and duties. Its employees, assets and liabilities are transferred to the Ministry of Trade and Industry. The Ministry of Trade and Industry is to assume the responsibility of supervising and the eventual privatization or liquidation of certain public enterprises. Among others, the Ministry is charged with taking over the implementation of the contracts of sale of former public enterprises concluded between the Agency and the purchasers.
