This Proclamation provides for the ratification of the Cartagena Protocol on Biosafety to the Convention on Biological Diversity and authorizes the Environmental Protection Authority to take, in cooperation with the appropriate Federal, Regional and City Administration Government organs, actions necessary to implement the Protocol.
