Abstract
This Regulation implements provisions of the Coffee Quality Control and Marketing Proclamation and provides rules relative to transactions in coffee and coffee by-products in Ethiopia. It provides for trade at specified designated transaction centres and the Ethiopian Commodity Exchange and provides for the certification of coffee suppliers, exporters wholesalers, roasters, processors or warehouse operators. The Regulation sets out obligations of persons involved in coffee transactions or services, including producers and provides for quality control. Regional primary transaction centres, designated as such under these Regulations, shall be the trading centre for coffee supplied by shall growers.
