Council of Ministers Regulation No. 542/2024 to Amend the National Veterinary Institute Establishment Regulation

This Regulation amends the existing legal framework establishing the National Veterinary Institute as a public enterprise. The Regulation specifically targets the capital structure of the Institute as set out in the original National Veterinary Institute Establishment Council of Ministers Regulation No. 52/1999.The core operative provision deletes Article 6 of Regulation No. 52/1999 and replaces it with a new Article 6 on capital. The new provision authorizes the capital of the National Veterinary Institute at Birr 2,560,016,232 (Two Billion Five Hundred Sixty Million Sixteen Thousand Two Hundred Thirty Two Birr). No other institutional, governance, or functional provisions of the Institute are modified by this amending Regulation.
