Abstract
This Regulation, issued by the Council of Ministers under Article 18(1) of the Live Animals Marketing Proclamation, concerns the establishment, administration, organization and use of live animals marketing centers, which are places designated by the appropriate organ for marketing of live animals in accordance with the Proclamation. These centers shall be established throughout the country in accordance with this Regulation. There shall be first-level and second-level live animals marketing centers. There shall also be waiting centers and feedlot stations. Animals shall be moved from first-level centers to second-level centers in accordance with this Regulation. The Regulation also specifies obligations of market actors, feedlot operators, exporters and transporters of animals and makes provision for general control by live animal market supervisors and health control live animals health controller.
