Livestock Resources Development Promotion Agency Establishment, Council of Regional Government Regulation No. 81/2010.

This Regulation of the Executive Council of the Amhara Regional Government establishes the Amhara National Regional State Livestock Development Promotion Agency and defines its objectives, powers and organizational structure. The Agency shall, among other things, develop systems for the development of the livestock industry and in particular for the quality and health of the regional livestock resources and their products. It shall, in particular, develop a strategic plan, undertake the development of livestock feeding and watering, coordinate and facilitate the supply of inputs and credit for animal production, and control the legal and illegal trade of livestock, skin and hide, livestock slaughter, private veterinary pharmacy, and clinic services.
