Raw Hides and Skins Marketing Council of Ministers Regulation No 339/2015.

This Regulation of the Council of Ministers implements provisions of the Raw Hides and Skins Marketing Proclamation with regard to the number and distribution of first level raw hides and skins marketing centers.it sets out criteria for the establishment of such centers an provides with respect to their administration. It also sets out obligations of producers, suppliers and transporters of raw skins and hides and of tanneries and provides with respect to marketing and quality control and enforcement. The appropriate organ (defined by the Proclamation) shall assign raw hides and skins marketing controllers and the Ministry of Agriculture and the regional agricultural bureaus shall assign raw hides and skins quality controllers. The first level raw hides and skins marketing center shall be determined based on the availability of land and supply of raw hides and skins of the locality. It shall meet criteria regarding facilities and shall be administered by authorized body located within the district or municipality and empowered to administer the center.
