Southern, Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Regional State Agricultural Research Institute Proclamation (No. 37/2001).

This Proclamation establishes the Agricultural Research Institute of the Southern, Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Regional State and provides with respect to its functions and powers, administration and internal organization. The Institute shall be accountable to the Regional Agricultural Research Board and the Regional Rural Development Coordination Bureau. The principal duty of the Institute is to develop and adapt agricultural technologies. It shall also, among other things, formulate an agricultural research strategy. The Institute shall be managed by an Agricultural Research Board and a Director-General.
