State Farms Development Authority Proclamation No. 142/1978.

An autonomous public authority is established under section 3. This Authority shall be in charge of the overall direction, supervision and co-ordination of the management and operation of agricultural development organizations established by the Authority pursuant to this Proclamation (‘corporations’), shall draw up a coordinated common plan for all corporations, ensure efficient function of the corporations and carry out studies requires to establish agro-industrial complexes. Powers and duties of the Authority are set out in section 6. The Authority shall have a General Manager, the duties of which are set out in section 8.
