Abstract
This Agreement has been concluded in order to amend Annexes V and VII to the Agreement between the European Community and New Zealand on sanitary measures applicable to trade in live animals and animal products. The text of Annex V, Horizontal Issues 42.A and 42.B, is replaced by the text contained in Annex A to this Agreement, which concerns in particular recognition of sanitary measures as regards residue monitoring and certification systems. Moreover, Annex VII in matter of certification is replaced by Annex B hereto. Official health certificates will cover consignments of live animals and animal products being traded between the two Contracting Parties.
