Commission Decision 2003/552/EC amending Decision 2002/80/EC imposing special conditions on the import of figs, hazelnuts and pistachios and certain products derived thereof originating in or consigned from Turkey.

The application scope of Decision 2002/80/EC is hereby broadened by adding flour, meal and powder of hazelnuts, figs and pistachios to the list contained in article 1 (1) of that Decision. Therefore, these products shall be subject to the special import conditions laid down therein when they originate in or are consigned from Turkey. The competent authorities of each Member State shall undertake at random sampling of the consignments. Annex II to Decision 2002/80/EC, laying down the list of points of entry, is replaced by the text laid down in the Annex hereto.
