Abstract
The present Decision establishes health rules as regards swine vesicular disease for regions of Italy that are recognized as free from swine vesicular disease and for regions not recognized as free from that disease. The Decision is composed of the following Chapters: (I) Subject matter, scope and definitions; (II) Recognition of regions and holdings in Italy as free from swine vesicular disease; (III) Surveillance; (IV) Movement of live pigs within Italy and to other Member States; (V) Obligation of communication.
