Commission Decision 2003/766/EC on emergency measures to prevent the spread within the Community of Diabrotica virgifera Le Conte is hereby supplemented by inserting articles 4a and 4b. According to these new provisions, when the results of the surveys during more than two consecutive years have confirmed the presence of the organism in a part of their territory, Member States shall define zones, covering that part of their territory where the organism was found (“infested zones”).
