Abstract
This Decision approves the control programmes submitted by Canada, Israel, Tunisia and the United States as regards salmonella in flocks of breeding hens. Furthermore, Annexes I and II to Decision 2006/696/EC are amended as set out in the Annex to this Decision. The amendments regard the list of third countries from which poultry, hatching eggs, day-old chicks may be imported into or transit through the European Union, as well as the model veterinary certificate for breeding or rpoductive poultry other than ratites.
