Commission Decision No. 2005/166/EC laying down rules implementing Decision No. 280/2004/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council concerning a mechanism for monitoring Community greenhouse gas emissions and for implementing the Kyoto Protocol.

The present Decision lays down rules to implement Decision No. 280/2004/EC, which concerns a mechanism for monitoring Community greenhouse gas emissions and for implementing the Kyoto Protocol. These implementing measures regard in particular the reporting of information, the establishment of a Community inventory system and the procedures and timescales for the cooperation and coordination of the obligations mentioned in article 8(1) of that Decision.
