Commission Directive 2000/32/EC adapting to technical progress for the 26th time Council Directive 67/548/EEC on the approximation of the laws, regulations and administrative provisions relating to the classification, packaging and labelling of dangerous substances.

This Directive lays down amendments and addenda to certain Annexes to Directive 67/548/EEC in order to adapt its provisions to scientific knowledge and technical progress. In particular it amends: a) certain notes contained in Annex I, which lays down the list of dangerous substances, together with particulars of the classification and labelling of each substance; b) the risk phrase contained in Annex 3; c) Part B of Anex V, which lays down the methods for the determination of the physicochemical properties, toxicity and ecotoxicity of substances and preparations; d) Annex IX, which contains the provisions relating to child-proof fastenings.
