Commission Implementing Decision 2012/638/EU confirming measures proposed by the Netherlands for the protection of marine areas of conservation in the North Sea Coastal Zone, the Vlakte van de Raan and the Voordelta.

The measures proposed by the Netherlands for the conservation of marine ecosystems in the North Sea Coastal Zone, the Vlakte van de Raan and the Voordelta are confirmed by this Decision, subject to certain adjustments. These measures are adopted pursuant to Council Directive 92/43/EEC on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora. Specific provisions concern restrictions to fishing activities, transit and anchoring of vessels.
