Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2017/427 amending Implementing Decision 2012/535/EU as regards measures to prevent the spread within the Union of Bursaphelenchus xylophilus (Steiner et Buhrer) Nickle et al. (the pine wood nematode).

This Decision amends and supplements Decision 2012/535/EU which sets out emergency measures to prevent the spread within the European Union of the pine wood nematode (PWN). Firstly a new definition of “plant affected by fire or storm” is inserted. Further amendments concern the content of the contingency plan to be adopted by Member States and reports to be communicated to the Commission of the European Union.
