Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2019/2000 laying down a format for reporting of data on food waste and for submission of the quality check report in accordance with Directive 2008/98/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Directive 2008/98/EC lays down an obligation for Member States to monitor and assess the implementation of their food waste prevention measures by measuring the levels of food waste on the basis of a common methodology and to report those data to the Commission. The data is to be accompanied by a quality check report. Member States shall report the data and submit the quality check report in the format laid down in the Annex to this Decision.
