Abstract
This Decision establishes uniform rules for Member States to monitor and report antimicrobial resistance in accordance with Article 7(3) and 9(1) of Directive 2003/99/EC and Annex II (B) and Annex IV thereto, for the period 2021- 2027. The monitoring and reporting of AMR shall cover bacteria listed in Article 1(2) and the following food-producing animal populations and food: (i) broilers; (ii) laying hens; (iii) fattening turkeys; (iv) bovine animals under one year of age; (v) fattening pigs; (vi) fresh meat from broilers; (vii) fresh meat from turkeys; (viii) fresh meat from pigs; (ix) fresh meat from bovine animals.

Entry into force notes
This Decision shall apply from 1 January 2021.
